Welcome to ’Made in Chertsey’. My name is Alan Weguelin.
It all started as a joke. I created a blog with a similar name to ‘Made in Chelsea’, a TV programme about posh people in Chelsea. My blog would be about poor people in Chertsey! Although this is called a blog, it is more of a place to keep my stories until I am ready to make them into the scrap book
As soon as I started to write about this, I remembered things that I had completely forgotten. So in the stories that follow, there are gaps of months or even years when nothing of note is remembered. The stories are largely true, but there is quite a lot of imagination.
